Kelly is an Advanced Practice Nurse with over 17 years of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and serves as the Clinical Director of Aspen Aesthetics + Wellness in Colorado Springs.
Her expansion into aesthetics and skincare followed personal frustrations as a patient and consumer within the industry. She found the lack of client education and inconsistent safety standards between clinics disappointing, particularly during her family’s relocations across the country while on Active Duty.
Kelly has practiced in every model of anesthesia and preoperative care, serving as a sole anesthesia provider in conflict zones and delivering high-quality care in operating rooms and clinics nationwide. Her extensive knowledge and hands-on procedural experience translate seamlessly into providing safe, effective, and client-focused aesthetic treatments.
Her philosophy on facial balancing and harmonization goes far beyond industry trends:
“Your face, and ultimately what makes up your unique features, is a whole unit. It’s not just lips or cheeks, or chin. Instead of over-enhancing one single area, I use the symbiotic relationship between art and science to balance your upper, middle, and lower face. I pay extreme attention to transition points throughout your face, and I look at angles, ratios, and continuity points between light and shadows.”
Kelly specializes in comprehensive facial rejuvenation with seamless, undetectable results, often incorporating high-resolution ultrasound for real-time facial mapping, injection guidance, and complication management. Her expertise in ultrasound has given her a unique niche in medical aesthetics, and she is a proud member of the Complications in Medical Aesthetic Collaborative (CMAC), an international organization dedicated to clinical excellence and complication management.
Forever an anesthesia provider at heart, Kelly believes every client deserves a comfortable, non-threatening injection experience. She values the natural beauty that comes with life, child-rearing, and age, while also supporting those who wish to age with intention and control. Her mission is to empower clients to make confident, informed choices for their faces and bodies.
When she’s not leading Aspen Aesthetics + Wellness, Kelly and her husband of 19 years, Scott, along with their two boys, Owen and Liam, and chocolate labradoodle, Sophie, enjoy mountain biking, fly fishing in 11-Mile Canyon, skiing across Colorado, or simply gathering at home for cooking, baking, and nature documentaries.
